How to replace the REPLFLTR10

Takes about 5 minutes, no tools. The steps are the same for the OEM REPLFLTR10 and any certified equivalent.

1. Locate the filter

On most Bosch fridges the REPLFLTR10 sits inside the top-right of the fresh-food compartment, in the bottom base grille, or lower rear. Check your manual if unsure.

2. Release the old filter

Turn the old cartridge a quarter-turn counter-clockwise, or press the release button, and pull it straight out. A little water drip is normal.

3. Prep the new filter

Unwrap the new REPLFLTR10 (or a certified equivalent) and remove the protective caps from the O-rings.

4. Insert and lock

Push the new filter in and turn clockwise until it clicks or the arrow lines up. It should seat firmly without forcing.

5. Flush the line

Run 2–4 gallons (about 4 minutes) through the dispenser to clear harmless carbon fines and air, until the water runs clear.

6. Reset the indicator

Press and hold the filter-status button for ~3 seconds until the light turns from red back to blue/green.

Signs it's time to replace it

Swap the REPLFLTR10 when you notice any of these — don't wait past 6 months.

Slower dispenser

Water or ice comes out slower than usual — the filter is clogging.

Taste or odour returns

A chlorine or musty taste means the carbon is spent.

Filter light is red

Your fridge has counted ~200 gallons or 6 months.
